Terms and Conditions Fentongollan Farm
At Fentongollan Farm we are dedicated to your total satisfaction so with this in mind we would welcome any suggestions or comments you may have.
Making and Paying for a Purchase
Select the items to be purchased and click on the more details button then on the following page select the pack / quantity you require from the drop down list and then click on the "buy now" button. At this stage you can see the contents of your basket, review it and add or take away items. Then you can either click on the "Checkout" or the "Continue Shopping" button.
Should you wish to place your order over the phone or by post we would be more than happy to receive you order by these methods. Order forms can be found inside all of our catalogues for those customers wishing to order by post.
We offer the following methods of payment:
Online Credit Card/ Debit Card
Offline Credit/Debit Card with details being sent via post, email, fax, or telephone
Cheque drawn on a UK based bank payable in sterling
We will take care that all the descriptions of the products are accurate so that the buyer will know exactly what they are buying. The price displayed will include VAT at 15% for taxable products so that you know exactly how much is being spent.
Once you have everything you require in your basket, click on the "Checkout" button. To remove an item from your basket, simply amend the quantity value and then click the "Recalculate" button. In the checkout screen, fill out all the information required and click the "Confirm" button. You will then be able to view and confirm your details and order before you enter your payment details.
After confirming your payment details you will come to the final page where you will see order confirmation.
Personal Information and Privacy
By entering any personal information on our website you affirm that it is genuine, accurate and current in all respects. You will need to notify us of changes to your personal information by contacting us as soon as possible.
All personal information we collect is treated as confidential. On using this website you may be required to enter some personal details such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, product selections, credit card or other payment information.
We understand the need to make your order and payment details secure, however we can not be held liable for any loss you may suffer if an external party accesses the data you provide when using our website. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
At times we may use statistical information gained from your visit to help us improve our service and products however, this will of course always remain confidential. We may also use this information to contact you regarding your order and future offers but we will not pass your details on to a third party.
Fentongollan Gift Vouchers
Fentongollan gift vouchers can be exchanged for goods on our website or in our catalogues. They can be used in orders by post and also to purchase goods over the telephone from us. They may not be exchanged for cash. If the goods purchased total less than the value of the gift voucher, any balance will be assigned to your personal account for later. When redeeming gift vouchers over the telephone you will be required to give the serial number of the voucher to ensure its validation.
Shipping and Handling
Due to the diversity of the products we sell the delivery charges applied to your order will range depending on weight and the shipping zone they are being sent to. For more information on delivery charges please call for further advice and assistance.
We only send perishable goods like flowers and plants to the UK. If you require delivery of a European bulb orders please contact us for further details and specific prices.
Additionally we offer Next Working Day delivery for orders placed before midday at an extra cost and this can be arranged via telephone or by adding it to your basket. A signature will be required for parcels sent by our courier company and Royal Mail signed for, parcels will normally not be left unattended. If a delivery needs to be rescheduled at no fault of the courier or ourselves you may be liable for a further delivery charge.
Fentongollan Farm are proud of our delivery service and the relationships we have with our couriers. UK orders should arrive within 3-4 working days depending on the dispatch and availability of the product due to the time of the season. We have a great deal of confidence in our couriers who provide our customers with an excellent service, whilst we all endeavor to provide you with a first class experience sometimes things may go wrong and it is for this reason we cannot guarantee delivery dates once your order has left our hands. Equally we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date on flowers dispatched by first class post unless ordered with special delivery.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to cancel orders if the product you ordered is unavailable or out of stock: we cannot obtain authorisation payment; there is a pricing or product description error and or you do not meet other criteria set out in our Terms & Conditions.
In the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute goods or varieties of equal or higher quality and value. This will remain at our discretion unless you notify us of the fact that you do not wish to receive substitutions in the ‘basket’.
We make every attempt to ensure the information we place on our website is accurate however, it is to be noted that the site is updated frequently and stock is only removed once we are completely sold out. We do not offer warranties of any kind with our products and reserve the right to remove products for sale at our discretion. We do not assure that the website will not be uninterrupted and cannot be held responsible for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website.
Returns Policy and Cancellation Rights
If you are in any way disappointed with our service, please telephone us, email us or write to us. If you have cause for complaint this must be received within 7 days after dispatch. Our phone lines are operated between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Should you wish to cancel your order and receive a refund, you must confirm this in writing within 7 working days of receipt and return the packaged item to us at the address given below. The item(s) must be returned to us unused and in as new condition. You will be liable for all postage costs incurred as a result of returning an item to us. We cannot issue a refund until we have received the goods and recommend you obtain proof of posting when you return any goods to us.
Please note this policy excludes all our cut flowers and plant seedlings as these are perishable goods and exempt from this legislation. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
